THE POSTCODE FOR THIS DIG IS DN10 4AZ. AS YOU PASS THE CHURCH ON YOUR LEFT, THE DIG SITE IS ON YOUR LEFT, CORNLEY ROAD. SIGNS ARE GOING OUT SO PLEASE LOOK OUT FOR THEM AND ADMIN WHO WILL DIRECT YOU TO THE PARKING.

SAFE JOURNEY ALL!

This will be another visit to our Misterton permission but a new, undetected 100 acres of lightly cultivated stubble.

The last visit produced nearly a dozen hammered coins, some Roman coins including a silver denarius, around 15 to 20 silver coins, two figurines and other coins and artefacts.

The farm we have here has over 2000 acres stretching across two counties, so sometimes we will be in Lincolnshire and others in Nottinghamshire so two great areas to have land to detect on.

If you would like to attend this event, please add your name to the registration form below.

Digging will start at 08:30 after a short briefing.

    Chris, Paul,

We are planning to come to the Misterton dig. We will need to stay overnight somewhere. Is the dig actually at Misterton or is it the Nottingshire or Lincolnshire side of Misterton? We just want somewhere to stay as close as possible.

    Regards

    Andrew and Audrey
