Raffle tickets will be on sale on all morning until 1pm @ £2.50 per ticket.

Come and join us for the final Let’s Go Digging event of 2017, what better way to end the year than with this cracking permission that has never failed to produce some amazing finds. This event is open to members and non members.
This event event will be held on 120 acres of undetected pasture (all flat fields). These fields join the Roman fields that we have previously visited that heavily produced hundreds of Roman coins, a dozen Silver Roman Denarius, a Gold Posy ring, several Roman Rings, 6 Silver Celtic units and Artifacts, they stretch between the previous stubble fields that we visited on 19th November and 26th November and the River Severn.
We have information from Gloucestershire archaeology dousers that there was a Roman Villa on this land.
If our previous visits to this permission in Slimbridge are anything to go by we can expect a lot of Roman items to be uncovered along with Medieval items too.
Our farmer will be on hand selling teas, coffees, hot dogs and mulled wine.

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING ALL LET’S GO DIGGING EVENTS
Please note: We expect all finds to be shown for photographing, all items considered treasure for the finder to provide identification and a contact number. Whilst it is not our responsibility to report items of treasure found on our digs, we will advise the finder to do so and expect confirmation it has been done. And finds of this nature not reported will result in the finders details being passed to the relevant authority.
The event will start at 9am after a short briefing so please arrive between 8am and 8.45am. Digging finishes at 4.30pm. Parking will be on the field if it is dry.
If you can no longer attend after registering for the event please UN REGISTER, failure to do so can result in you being blocked from all future LGD events.
