The previous visit here resulted in finds consisting of a Roman and Celtic unit, hammered silver, a gold half sovereign, silver cuff link and a Warwickshire bear and ragged staff amongst many other items.

Please note it is a single track access which means parking will be single file, making it difficult to exit until everyone is ready to leave. We will terminate the dig at 4:30 prompt to ensure everyone can get out easily. Please be aware that you may not be able to extract yourself if you wish to leave early!!!

This is short notice to give our local members a day out as our Sunday event is in Somerset so please get your names down as soon as possible if you can attend.

Please see register below and remember, if you have to cancel after registering, please remove your name or inform a member of admin.
